I’ve always loved this question – I think it’s one of the greatest and most important. But being a Gemini who was born stereotypically excitable yet fickle, it’s a tough question to actually answer.
I’m passionate about a lot of things on any given day and over the course of time I’ve wanted to accomplish a lot of things – some I’ve managed to do, many more though have fallen victim to my attention span…but today I make up for those which have fallen to the wayside and I’m hoping I can count on your support to make it happen.Through the dog blog I’m raising as much money as possible during the month of April for ten animal shelters throughout Canada, the United States and South Africa – one for each of the blog’s ten contributors who have been so helpful in fueling my dreams to make a difference. Your generosity will be felt by vulnerable and abandoned animals throughout the world no matter how big or small the donation. For example, skipping your Starbucks today could keep a puppy cozied up in a new blanket tomorrow. It’s that simple.
Don’t even try to tell me that mental image didn’t make your heart melt just a little…
I understand that some of you won’t be in a position to donate but you can still help. Between all of our blogs, Twitter and Facebook accounts, email contact lists, coworkers, friends and families, we have access to millions of people. Just a few clicks can make a world of difference to animals desperate for a fighting chance.
You’ll find different examples and templates to get you started below as well as the widget you can use to donate. You can even copy the HTML code to add the widget to your own blog. Every bit of support will be so incredibly appreciated so thank you all so very much…back to regular programming tomorrow
sorted out, know that we’re over $1000 already!

Write a note or message your friendsAs a pet owner and animal lover I know first-hand how something so small can have such a big impact on our lives. I’m not even going to bother asking if any of you could imagine a life without your pets. For that reason, it’s only natural that we come together to accomplish something BIG to change the lives of vulnerable animals around the world.
I’m helping a team of people raise as much money as possible in support of ten animal shelters across Canada, the United States and South Africa. I’d love if you’d help by donating what you can but there are plenty of other ways to get involved too. Check http://tinyurl.com/donate4dachshunds the full details.
