Calvin who?

Yes, he’s gone. We dropped him off with Tofu this morning and he was so excited to see his brother that he couldn’t take the time to say goodbye. You know what I say to that? GOOD RIDDANCE. Because now I have this puppy in my life. Okay, Taggard isn’t mine…but he might as well be. I mean, look at my yard…what dog wouldn’t kill to belong to me these days?

Calvin & Tag: First encounters from Benjamin Boudreau on Vimeo.

Hope you’ve been enjoying the dog-blog guest posts so far and I have one more lined up tomorrow from a very special guest.

Packing is going pretty well. We’re still speaking to each other and it’s not as warm as it was last year. Plus, staring at the growing pile of boxes isn’t as scary since I know that tomorrow, paid workers will be coming to lift them all down the four flights of stairs while I sip mimosas. Or straight gin with toast.

Tomorrow we start turning the house into a home. Just like that song. Only without the pained heartache.

It was even more adorable in real life when you could hear his snores.

My initial reaction to that first pic was, “Wow. That looks like Cape Breton.” (Honestly.)

That’s where I live! (Not on that actual hill.)

It looks absolutely gorgeous up there! I hope y’all had a fantastic holiday, even if the only thing you did was sleep. I cannot tell you just how jealous I am for that.

Also, I love your dogs. I think they would get along with Lucy well, despite her being at least 25 lbs and a foot or two taller.

Cute pics! Theo is so cute in the pic of him cuddled up next to the vent. =) Sorry “Operation Get the dogs the hell out of my bed so I can sleep at night” isn’t going well. Best of luck with that one. I think you may be fighting a losing battle with it though.

I think my favorite picture is the one of the newf and Theo in the grass field. That counts as hilarity in my book, because that picture rules.

Ben, your dogs are SO cute. I want to love them and squeeze them and kiss them.

In that order too.

Especially Theo! I would crawl up and snuggle right next to him and the heating vent. TOO CUTE!

1) AWESOME view. i would have taken a million and a half pics.

2) that pic of theo just about breaks my heart.

3) how much training went into teaching them to not run away from you when they are off the leash?
